Every platededicated scour path

Targeted scour

A detachable modular scour manifold sits on the bottom of each plate. Check valves keep sludge and mixed liquor out of the air path. Air reaches the root of every channel — not a lucky subset.

A real support plate

Polypropylene plates hold the PES sheet so edges do not fray or delaminate. Panel 1,047 × 502 mm, 7.6 mm thick, with a 6.4 mm channel gap.

Cut, welded, assembled and packed in Poughkeepsie. BABA compliance is available for most Zyramic modules, so federally funded municipal projects stay in scope. 304 stainless frame standard, 316 optional.

Two listed modules

Same footprint, double the area.

About 1.05 m² of membrane per plate (both faces). The single-deck module carries 130 plates; the double-deck module carries 260 plates on the same roughly 7 ft × 3 ft footprint. Panel height of 41.2 in keeps the top of the plate clean.

Why per-plate scour matters.

Independent CFD compared targeted scour against a conventional bottom plenum on identical plates and showed about 4× the liquid shear at the channel base. Independent FEA covered the module in operation and lift-out, worst case wetted and double-deck.
