Packaged flat-sheet UF cleaned by circulating scrubbing media. No backwash. Design flux 9–12 GFD (15–20 LMH). For UF duty outside an MBR.
Scrub UF →Ultrafiltration · Scrub UF
When the job is UF, not an MBR.
Scrub UF is submerged flat-sheet ultrafiltration in an open tank, kept clean by circulating scrubbing media. No backwash. Design flux is 9–12 GFD (15–20 LMH), peak 15 GFD (25 LMH), and it may run higher on clean water. Recovery is 90% or better on suitable feeds.

Coarse-bubble scour
Continuous coarse-bubble scour lifts mixed liquor between every sheet. Coarse bubbles keep the channels open at high MLSS and with chemical phosphorus removal.
Service a cartridge, not a module
Pull and replace one Swing cartridge. A module breakdown takes about two hours, so a crew does it within a shift.
Durable sheet
A thick thin-film composite on PET non-woven, permanently wetted dry film. Ships and stores dry. No pressurized backwash to stress the sheet.

How Swing works
Sheet to cartridge to module.
Each Swing-8 cartridge holds 114 thin-film composite sheets (135 ft² / 12.5 m²). Cartridges stack in decks and line up in columns, so the model name tells you the build: Swing-8-2-4 is 2 decks × 4 columns = 8 cartridges = 1,080 ft² (100 m²).
