Tom Frankel founded Zyramic. Before that he spent about thirty years building SSI Aeration — fine-bubble diffused aeration — into a top global manufacturer with 120 staff. SSI led the US market at the end. More than a dozen patents.
That is the background behind a new cassette. Putting air into mixed liquor is the problem he has worked on for three decades. Targeted scouring is what happens when you point that experience at a flat sheet plate — a scour manifold on every channel — instead of a tank floor.

Engineering
Filtration engineers and structural engineers are on staff, with MBR experience. Independent CFD compared targeted scouring against a conventional bottom plenum on identical plate geometry. Independent FEA covers the module in operation and in lift-out, worst case included: wetted, double-deck. Both are predictions under stated modeling assumptions, not plant data. Application engineering is part of the quote. We help you choose polymer or ceramic, size the module to the duty, and write the interface the plant already has. Technical support stays with you after it ships: start-up questions, TMP, CIP, and how the cassette is running.
Field services cover module and plate work in the tank, including other-brand plate sizes from our inventory. Arranged through Zyramic. Ask on the quote.
Factory
The factory is at 10 Tucker Drive, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. We cut membrane to size, weld it to injection-molded plates, assemble plates into modules, and pack them. We inventory parts so we can build different sizes of MBR plates and serve plants running other brands.
We produce in the United States to BABA. Zyramic Palisade is a BABA MBR module: a BABA membrane bioreactor cassette manufactured in the United States from US and imported parts. BABA (Build America, Buy America) compliant. Federally funded municipal projects stay in scope without a waiver process.

Zyramic sells modules, not treatment systems. No process guarantee, no permit guarantee, no plant. Partners take the rest of the train.
We do not sell a reverse osmosis or nanofiltration element.
We do not publish plant data we do not have. Everything on this site labeled independent CFD or FEA is a prediction. When we have plant data, it will say plant data.

Warranty, in brief
Two years, municipal wastewater, non-prorated, on module integrity. Industrial and other non-municipal service is not covered unless written separately. No permeate-quality or permit-compliance guarantee in the standard warranty. Extended municipal terms may be offered on qualified projects by separate agreement.
