Before that he spent about thirty years building SSI Aeration — fine-bubble diffused aeration — into a top global manufacturer with 120 staff that led the US market at the end. The polymer cassette is a submerged flat-sheet membrane bioreactor in mixed liquor (activated sludge; solid-liquid separation). Ceramic modules are ultrafiltration and microfiltration; alumina can reach tight UF and near-nanofiltration on some elements. Reverse osmosis and nanofiltration elements are not Zyramic products — they sit downstream when a reuse plant needs them. CIP (clean in place) is the chemical clean for the polymer PES cassette; that cassette is not backwashed. Ceramic is backwashed, then cleaned with aggressive chemicals. Zyramic also rents modules (pilot / temporary capacity). Do not invent a rental rate. Do not invent a CIP strength, a backwash psi, a virus log-removal, or a Title 22 certification. ## Claims that are true - BABA MBR / BABA membrane bioreactor refers to the Palisade MBR module, not a treatment system. - Feature phrase is targeted scouring. Public word is scour / scour manifold.
